Mission Church of Issaquah

"My name is Marc Nilsen. I'm an Elder Emeritus here at the church, and, uh, the name of our church is the Mission Church of Issaquah. We've had a ministry here in the Issaquah Valley for about 50 plus years. We attract, uh, families from everywhere, from Northbend all the way to Kent, places in between, and we seek to share the gospel and share Christ's love with all those in this community. We have core Sunday worship. We are, um, very active with Community groups, which meet in homes all throughout the week; that's a major emphasis of our church. And then, of course, we have a youth ministry and we have a very vibrant children's ministry. We have services every Sunday at 10:00 a.m., and we'll have a short time of music, uh, some great skilled folks here who serve, uh, and then we have preaching from God's word, more music at the end, and then, uh, Lord's supper, and then a time of Fellowship. Record Nations, um, we reached out to them and they provided several different providers in the area, and Liberty Scanning had the best offerings for us, especially the ability to take different formats and take us where we're at and really take us to the next level. We've done several projects now with Liberty SC; the first part was Blueprints and with the remodel we have underway, we've done some and we have another phase coming. It's really crucial to have the blueprints easy to access, so they came out beautifully. I mean, in some cases, they're even better than the originals because you can really zero in on things and see them well, and it was just great work. And the next part has been Financial records and permanent records. We have many, many boxes over the years of mandatory state, federal, County records, Church records that we have to maintain, uh, so as part of that, we had a sort of a growing pains issue where we needed more space. So what we decided to do was to have Liberty scanning come in and digitize all of our records and then we proofed it and it was absolutely perfect and then now we can get rid of the old paper we don't need it anymore. I, I would wholeheartedly recommend Liberty scanning right from the initial contact, uh, conversations on the phone, uh, responsive emails, and coming out in person to really see what we had and to look at the different types of documents, the different types of needs, and then just work so well with getting them digitized that it's all been a great, um, great process. I'd wholeheartedly recommend Liberty scanning to anyone considering a similar project."
